Michael began practicing as a CPA in the Los Angeles office of a national CPA firm in 1972 and attended USC in the evenings earning his MBA (Taxation) in 1976. He transferred to the Portland office from LA in 1976. He graduated from Nevada (BS, Accounting, 1969) and was a US Army Captain from 1969 to 1972 serving in Germany, Panama and Viet Nam.
He has been the managing partner of local and regional CPA firms and is currently the senior partner and investment advisor in the family practice. He has been active in many civic and charitable organizations. His clients include businesses, professionals, investors and retired clients.
He enjoys time with his family including three grandchildren, is an avid golfer, occasional fisherman and continues the dream of one day selling his novels and screen plays.
